More about BCESD9 . . .
As approved by District voters in November 2013, BCESD9 covers a service area of approximately 55 square miles in southeastern Burnet County, Texas. The District is bounded by the Travis County line to the east, the Blanco County line to the south, Burnet County Road 401 on the west and the Colorado River / Lake Travis on the north.
Texas Highway 71, which cuts through the middle of the District, is a major corridor for travel between Austin and the nearby Highland Lakes, both Pedernales State Park and Inks State Park, as well as the cities of Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay, Burnet and Llano.
